Bells chime from afar,
the melody floats,
sitting upon clouds
embarking on a
journey, waving as
they saunter by me.
A cricket plays its
violin so sweet
as sun’s beams sink low,
waving goodbye until
tomorrow, yawning
as Mr. Moon glows.
Seagulls bob and weave,
waves stretch smooth fingers
along wet sand to kiss
my toes in loving
kindness, linger
for a bit then go.

Morning Brew
I always enjoy a great cup of coffee in the morning. Here where I am in the USA, it is early morning. I am sitting in the quiet of my house enjoying something coffee and wishing I could share it with you. So here is the next best thing. (See picture below):

Have a GREAT day🤗🥰😁
Petals by L. M. Montes
Dainty petals arch as wind pokes
touches of love breezing by,
scent bursts forth in laughter
enlightening sweetness upon
the senses erupting in the soul.

Hearts and Minds
Our hearts feed our minds whether it’s in a negative or positive way.
But our minds don’t always feed what our heart wants.

Story Trees
The beauty of a tree is intricate. There are so many parts, yet they are all part of one trunk. Everything comes together to make up the whole. We see the individual parts, but we also see the one.

Stories work much the same way. There is one main story, but within it are ‘branches’ or ‘offshoots’ of smaller stories that, when you put them all together, make up the main story. The end result is one story with many parts within it. They all connect. With a tree if you take a part of it and replant it, it grows into another tree. The same applies to a story. If you take a part of the story, you can create another story.
Seclusion and Thoughts
Being alone provokes a thought or two or three. But crowded places give
birth to rapid fire thinking that calls or seclusion.

Beauty and God
What is more beautiful, God’s creation or things money can buy?
I choose God Himself because He is where beauty comes from.

Money and Things
Having all the money in the world can get you all the things you’ve ever wanted, but all the things you’ve ever wanted will never get you all the money in the world.

Mist in the Sunshine by L. M. Montes
Wafting up and away the pollen drifted as I lay
my head aloft a pillow of leaves,
drifts of cloud remnants break free,
separate–
wind tickles them,
they laugh,
tiny, beaded, dewy drops float and blow
a downward path–
resting pleasant mist as nature sews.
Love’s Haiku by L. M. Montes
Standing near a tree
I see you laugh heartily
warming the heart’s soul.
I step closer now,
hoping for chances to speak
to your being so strong.
A glance from your eyes
meets mine, staggers, and repeats
until you are rapt.
Without a thought you’re here
splaying love words lovingly
inside my minds ear.
