Sometimes freeing up space in your mind means cleaning up external clutter.

Caves hide darkness
in vast shadows–
creatures from within
lurk behind the mind’s eye–
two steps forward
three steps back–
now to face it
but risk attack–
inner caves thus sit in silence
forever grieving with no healing,
stuck in mind mud–
no way out–
life’s decisions pushed you out.
If fear stops you, how will you ever take the initiative your creative mind conceives?

Our hearts feed our minds whether it’s in a negative or positive way.
But our minds don’t always feed what our heart wants.
