Walk, March, Dream by L. M. Montes

Walk–
with strides anew,
saunter–
just me and you,
linger–
and smell the dew.

March–
as off to war,
halt–
watch eagles soar,
remember–
it lives within your core.

Dream–
and do not die,
hope–
and fly up high,
achieve–
with goals decry.

Nature’s Haiku by L. M. Montes

A lone flower wilts,
Sun shifts beams smiling upon
its petals giving life.

Rain pelts earthly growth,
too much washes life away,
leaves mud it its wake.

Bright skies lift spirits,
breezes sing sweet songs of joy,
now warmth reigns anew.

Woosh of waves soften
sleepy sand as it hastens
building dunes upright.

Dreamy pink hazy
lands of slumber kiss eyelids
closed as night reclines.

The Fleeting Soul by L. M. Montes

In life you are a soul behind a mask,
hiding from the world but yet you seek
true beauty from within a natural set,
displaying gold inside your heart,
giving what you have to all, then part.

In dreams you linger strong and within sight,
but then you move and vanish from my
reach when hands behold your presence,
leaving one to wonder if you are there,
or staying away forever, ’cause you care.

Dream by L. M. Montes

Day is but a light with life to live,
rejoice and stroll in Earth’s green meadowed parks,
embed in you the yearning of your soul,
a thread to reach and sew life’s gifted oats,
meant to thrust on others life’s warmth and glow.

Dream by L. M. Montes

Dance with ideas to
Rhythms of imagination,
Eclipsing all else,
Advancing the depth of
Magic within.
