The Light That Shines

In an ever darkening and dangerous world, an evil exists pulling life increasingly downward by a thread. With a slow pull so minute one can not perceive the movement, yet it is there. The thread is so thin it is almost invisible. Humans run and scurry from the danger. Thinking lacks. Running overtakes. Words spew from evil’s mouth, and many believe the words without thinking about what the evil words are saying. Division cuts the culture like a knife caused by the evil from within. Anger and rage sweep many. They turn on one another. Why? No reason, other than they believe the evil darkness of lies that are sickening the many.

BUT…a light shines within the soul of all men. This light comes from words of love, kindness, encouragement, and acts encompassing these light filled words. BE A LIGHT IN SOMEONES DAY. Spread joy. Earth is filled with a multitude of different people. Coming together, instead of allowing ourselves to be divided, is who we really are. Learn from one another. Hold the door open for someone. Tell someone they look nice. Say hi to somebody. Help out in your community. If you don’t know what you can do, ask someone. These words and actions of love and kindness shine a ‘light’ much much brighter than any evil that tries to break them down. I LOVE YOU ALL.

Numbers 6:24-26
“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

Persist

Keeping at it is the key. No matter what you are doing, continuing to do that which you are doing is how you eventually reach your goal/dream. The operative word here is eventually. Sometimes achievements can happen quickly. I’m not saying they don’t. It’s just that most often it takes time. It also depends on what you are doing. Writing a book takes time anyway, but it begins to take less time when you do it all the time. The process becomes easier and the creative flow continues. BUT, for writing to get easier and faster, you MUST persist and continue on. No matter what life throws at you, no matter how hard it gets at various times, push through it.

NEVER GIVE UP. I believe in you. Others believe in you. YOU believe in you too.

A Comfortable Place

Where is your place of comfort to either read a good book, write, or just to sit and meditate? For me it’s more than one spot. If I’m writing, I enjoy a place surrounded by books or where I can look out and view nature. When I’m reading a good book, I prefer a comfortable chair or sofa in any setting. Where’s your place?

Patience

Patience can be an unruly monster, especially when you want something bad enough. Like success or wanting to see the final product of something you’re writing or making. You want it now. I think if one is normally an impatient individual, then that comes second nature to them. They will rush through to get something done. Maybe they need a reminder to slow down.

The project will get finished. It isn’t easy. Trust me on this one. I am a very impatient person, and I have to remind myself frequently to take my time.

So, slow down. Take a deep breath. Think of the end result and know it will be even better because you will have taken your time.
