Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?
A cat because there remains in them a sense of freedom to do things their way.

I really enjoyed reading this blog post about comparing oneself to an animal. The idea of feeling a sense of freedom and doing things your own way is certainly appealing, and I can see why you chose the cat as your comparison. However, I’m curious if you think there are any downsides to this comparison. For example, cats can sometimes be seen as lazy or aloof, which may not be qualities that everyone wants to associate with themselves. Additionally, cats can sometimes be viewed as selfish or independent, which may not always be the best approach when working with others or in certain social situations. What are your thoughts on these potential drawbacks, and do you still feel that the cat is the best animal to compare yourself to?

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I’m glad you enjoyed my comparison to a cat. There are downsides to every animal, just as there are downsides to every human. I was looking at the more positive characteristics. When I chose the cat, I chose it because I own two. They’re quite the characters. I could have compared myself to an eagle, as that was my other choice. I love eagles. Lions are another favorite of mine.
