The Greatest Gift

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

There are many great gifts out there one could receive, but the greatest gift goes beyond anything with monetary value. Jesus is the best and greatest gift humanity ever received. Having Him in my heart brings warmth and joy.

In addition to Jesus I would have to go with friendship. A true friend is hard to find, but when you find that one person who encompasses all the qualities of what a true friend is, they’re a treasure.

Day is but a light with life to live,
rejoice and stroll in Earth’s green meadowed parks,
embed in you the yearning of your soul,
a thread to reach and sew life’s gifted oats,
meant to thrust on others life’s warmth and glow.
