This is debatable, but I would have to say first and foremost your identification. Another necessity is your cellphone. When I was on a walk last year and fell and broke both arms, I had my phone with me. On days prior to that I had stopped carrying it with me. But that day I decided to carry it. Thank God I did because the lady who helped me was able to call my husband.
