How we/you write is how you write. Not everyone is going to like your style, because, as you know, everyone is different. That’s ok. Write in your style anyway. Someone might even give you a low scoring review because of it. That’s ok, because it invokes curiosity and will entice readers to buy/read your book. That’swhat you want. So, embrace the negative. From it can come the positive.

This is so true! Everyone has their own style and voice! Now not to say you can learn and improve, even negative reviews you can get nuggets out of. Just need to make sure you don’t take the whole thing to heart or you’ll lose your voice in a sea of others.

Exactly right. Well put. I think taking a step back and rethinking what the negative review is saying is an important in the process of not letting it you down.
